Implement a Cancer Recovery Program in your office

In my work as an Oncology PA for over 15 years, I know the heartache we feel for our patients as they are left wondering what is next after treatment.  We walk closely with them through their darkest days, and then suddenly, when it's done, we send them back to life without the proper tools.

I work with teams of providers to help get an after care program started in their office. AwakenCARE was created with YOUR OFFICE in mind.

I coach your staff to:

  • give first steps to patients after their initial treatment is over

  • provide health coach training

  • set up training to provide the best knowledge and tools to help patients with mind and body health

  • help patients recover from chemo side effects

  • training on reducing stress, fear and more.

Zen

It's no surprise that cancer takes a toll on an individual's mental health. Treatment can be stressful. I will be providing proven strategies to help your staff work with patients on fear and overwhelm while providing the tools to improve their mood. We'll work on:

  • Reducing stress, anxiety, insomnia and depression

  • Eliminating the fear of cancer recurrence

MIND

Outdoor Aerobics

Together we can implement new nutrition, sleep and movement habits. This is less about removing bad habits and more about adding scientifically proven beneficial ones. We'll address:

  • Eliminating chemo side effects

  • Achieving and maintaining optimal weight without it becoming all consuming

  • Healthy meal planning that fits into busy lifestyles

  • Practical ways to cleanse and reduce future toxin exposures

  • Exercise as it relates to movement

BODY

Romantic Couple Enjoying View

Cancer becomes an unexpected gift when we allow it to awaken a bigger purpose. Facing one's mortality is an invitation to ask the bigger questions about who we are and what we are here to do. I'll provide tools to help patients discover their purpose and create a vision for their lives. This is about:

  • Discovering gratitude in everyday living

  • Taking inventory of emotional states

  • Living with intention and meeting goals
