A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME...

I embarked on a journey for better cancer care after losing my childhood hero, my Uncle Mo, to melanoma cancer. I watched a strong, vibrant man lose his battle to this devastating disease and I was convinced I never wanted another family to endure the pain and heartache my family experienced.

 

I was fortunate to train at Baylor College of Medicine and MD Anderson, one of the top cancer centers in the world. I learned from the best of the best and yet, I realized through my training and 15 years in cancer care, we have HUGE gaps in what we offer our patients and their families. As we joyfully tell people, “Congratulations! Your treatment is complete! We’ll see you back in 3 months!,” I watched the panic come over their faces with questions we were not well equipped to answer.

 

From this fear and despair, AwakenCARE was born. I’m here to guide you toward finding your BALANCE – your best health, your greatest life and your highest calling! I feel blessed to live out my calling and purpose through AwakenCARE.

I’ve learned as a working mom, life is one big journey of finding our best BALANCE. I’m an adrenaline junkie, country girl at heart, trying to strike a balance between healthy choices and my love of donuts!

I’ve been married to the man of my dreams for 15 years and we’ve been blessed with 5 amazing children. We love adventure and travel. You’ll find us on the ski slopes in the winter and out exploring in our pop-up trailer in the summers.

Watching lives transformed is truly some of the most fulfilling work I’m honored to be a part of. Thank you for trusting me to be a part of your story.
